Production OperatorLocation: Oxford, NC 27565 Pay Rate: $25.00–$26.26/hr, paid weekly Duration: 3 Months plus Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, rotating 2-2-3 scheduleScheduleEmployees rotate between the following workweeks:Week 1: Monday, Thursday, and Friday – 36 hours.Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday – 48 hours.The schedule alternates between these two workweeks.OverviewThe Production Operator / Dry End Operator is responsible for operating various machines at the end of the production process. This position also operates mobile equipment, including a forklift, to move and stage finished goods.ResponsibilitiesOperate production equipment and machinery within the dry end process.Perform visual inspections of finished goods to verify compliance with quality specifications.Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, and quality issues during the shift.Operate a forklift to move and stage finished goods.Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the facility.Provide coverage for the Winder Operator role as needed.Complete and maintain required mobile equipment certifications, including forklift, floor scrubber, and Bobcat.Perform assigned duties until properly relieved at the end of the shift.Complete SMAT safety observations and submit required reports.Perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Previous industrial manufacturing experience required.Basic computer literacy required.Strong communication skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong attendance and reliability required.BenefitsHealth insurance.Health savings account.Dental insurance.Vision insurance.Flexible spending accounts.Life insurance.Retirement plan.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
