Structural Welders Needed in West Tulsa!
We are seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team. This role is responsible for welding structural steel components used in large-scale fabrication projects while ensuring strength, durability, and compliance with specifications. Candidates must be proficient in structural welding processes and capable of working from blueprints and weld symbols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and weld symbols
- Perform structural welds on beams, columns, and other steel components
- Utilize Stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), and Flux-Core (FCAW) welding processes
- Ensure welds meet structural codes and quality standards
- Operate grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools
- Inspect welds for defects and ensure structural integrity
- Maintain proper alignment and fit-up of structural components
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a structural welder or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Stick, MIG, and Flux-Core welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings
- Knowledge of weld symbols and structural welding techniques
- Ability to work long hours, including overtime and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with heavy structural steel
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: $18$30/hour (DOE)
Schedule: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Workweek: 6 days per week (overtime required)
