Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric ICU RN for a mixed acuity Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit, with APHON certification and Beacon EMR experience required.

Details

• Mixed acuity pediatric unit serving patients from birth through 18 years of age across all pediatric specialties
• 19-bed unit with approximately 30% of admissions being Hematology/Oncology patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:1, with at least 2 APHON-certified RNs staffed per shift
• Day/Night rotation or Nights Only schedule, 36 hours per week
• Uses the Beacon EMR platform

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• APHON certification required
• Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in a Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma setting
• Extensive experience caring for pediatric Hematology/Oncology patients, including familiarity with all pediatric cancers and therapies
• Experience with the Beacon EMR platform required
• Two references from managers required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Unit supports all specialties within a children's hospital setting
