Accounting Assistant (AP/AR)Onsite | Healthcare Industry ExperienceWe're seeking an Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team through invoice processing, reconciliations, reporting, and financial data management. This is a great opportunity to gain broad exposure to accounting operations while working with a collaborative team that values accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth.ResponsibilitiesEnter invoices, billing, payment, and reconciliation data into accounting systems with a high degree of accuracy.Review reports, spreadsheets, and financial documents to ensure completeness and correctness.Identify discrepancies, duplicate records, and missing information in accounting data and document follow-up actions.Recognize trends and issues in financial data that require further investigation or escalation.Prepare and maintain spreadsheets to support accounts payable and general accounting activities.Assist with basic reporting and trend analysis to support the accounting and finance team.QualificationsHealthcare industry experience is preferred but not required.Interest in supporting work that directly impacts patient and member outcomes.Ability to review reports and spreadsheets and accurately identify discrepancies and data issues.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
