PRN Registered Nurse

PRN Registered NurseWe have an exciting opportunity for a PRN Registered Nurse to join our upscale plastic surgery center!A bit about the position: Promotes and restores patients' health for H/K/B patients by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families. Shifts are 8-12 hours between the hours of 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, as needed.What you can expect in the role:Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.Helps preop patients prior to surgery, circulate during surgeries and recover patients post-surgery.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.What we are looking for in a candidate:1 year of PACU experience and 1 year of OR circulating experience required.Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.Equivalent combination of education and experience.Current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.Industry experience a plus.
