Travel Nurse RN - Psychiatric Mental HealthDuration: 13 weeksShift: 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)Weekend Requirement: Potentially up to every weekendOn-Call Requirement: NoneEducation: BSNLicensure/Certification: Active RN licenseNew Traveler Considered: YesMinimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experiencePreferred experience in acute care, behavioral health, or medically complex settingsExperience with pediatric psychiatric emergencyCurrent BLS certificationMust be able to become certified in Safety Care, including the ability to move from seated to standing without assistanceEating Disorder Treatment Experience: Prior clinical experience with eating disorder populations (e.g., anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID) in inpatient, residential, or partial-hospitalization settingsBehavioral Health Background: Experience supporting patients with complex psychiatric, psychological, and medical needsNG Tube Management: Competency with NG tube placement, monitoring, and maintenance; ability to support patients receiving enteral nutritionMedical/Somatic Care Experience: Background in medical, med-surg, or acute care, including vital sign monitoring, refeeding protocols, and medical stabilizationTrauma-Informed, Patient-Centered Care: Ability to provide sensitive, consistent care with appropriate therapeutic boundariesInterdisciplinary Collaboration: Effective teamwork with providers, dietitians, therapists, and support staffStrong Communication Skills: Clear, compassionate communication with patients and familiesFlexibility and Adaptability: Comfort working in a structured yet dynamic clinical environmentClinical Documentation Proficiency: Experience with EHR systems and accurate, timely documentationClient reserves the right to float or reassign personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours and within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility (unless otherwise agreed to in such Personnel's individual assignment confirmation)No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignmentMedical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed
