This contract opportunity, located near La Mesa, CA, provides a stable weekday schedule at 33.75 hours per week. Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings highly desired
• Background working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing strongly preferred
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a significant asset
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Commitment to individualized, inclusive support for student communication needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students during school hours
• Assess, diagnose, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse speech and language needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation for all services provided
• Adapt therapy techniques to support students who are deaf, hard of hearing, or who use ASL
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for student success
