Assistant Project ManagerThe Assistant Project Manager supports the successful execution of client delivery projects by coordinating daily project activities, maintaining documentation, and ensuring alignment across teams. This role applies NASI PMO standards and methodologies to help deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about improving processes, supporting technical teams, and strengthening project performance.Key Responsibilities:Safety is our Priority. Follow Safe Work Practices that conform with the Company's Safety Program and client worksite policies ensuring that every person on the team Stays Accident Free Every-day.Promote company Core Values to foster and safeguard Company culture.Provides support to project managers for change orders, project logs, daily reports, RFI's, scope verification, etc.Assists with cost control and financial management trackingCoordinates scope of work - daily work projectionsPreparing submittalsReview and compile pay applications, change requests, and project financial documentationPartners with Project manager to craft responses to client requests – correspondence as requiredAssists in contract administrationAssists in employee time and recordkeepingAssists in coordinating work with other project team members – construction managers, quality specialists, safety, etc.Participates in meetings to coordinate workDevelops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.Secure material orders, assist superintendents with material ordersPerforms other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks and projects.Education & Experience Requirements :Degree: Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, other STEM based degree programs. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Experience: 1-3 years' experience in constructionGood computer skillsProficient in Windows, SharePoint, Excel, power point and Word – basic knowledge and useKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Accountability: Takes ownership, understands the broader organizational goals, and contributes to continuous improvement.Attention to Detail: Produces accurate, high-quality work and maintains organized, well-structured documentation.Customer Focus: Delivers responsive, high-quality service with an understanding of both internal and external customer impacts.Interpersonal Skills: Communicates professionally, uses tact and diplomacy, and remains composed under pressure.Results Driven: Sets high-performance standards and demonstrates persistence and urgency in meeting goals.Supervisory Responsibility: This position is not expected to be assigned resources to direct.Work Location and Travel: On project site daily with up to 15% travelWhy Black Box?
