Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator for a local manufacturing facility. This position requires strong mechanical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision forming metal parts to exact tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and document press brake tooling
- Verify machine settings to ensure accurate tolerances and quality output
- Operate CNC press brake equipment for production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications
- Determine dimensions, tolerances, and sequence of operations
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and workspace
- Produce consistent, accurate parts in a repetitive production environment
- Lift and move metal materials as needed
- CNC press brake experience required
- Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings
- Skilled with precision measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Basic CAD/CAM knowledge and computer skills
- Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to maintain focus and motivation on repetitive tasks
- Ability to take direction and follow production processes
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent use of hands for machine operation and material handling
- Lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Work with large metal parts requiring strength and stamina
- Detail-oriented operators focused on quality and accuracy
- Dependable workers with strong attendance
- Team players who can support production goals
- Individuals comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
