Are you a skilled carpenter looking for a long term opportunity with the possibility of advancement? Laurel Builders, an award-winning custom design/build company in business for 20 years, is looking for a Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. As a Lead Carpenter, you would be responsible for rough and trim carpentry, on-site project supervision, collaboration with trade partners and designers, and regular communication with clients. This role involves hands-on carpentry work as well as overseeing a team, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and meeting our quality standards . To be successful in this position, an individual needs to have excellent carpentry skills, ability to communicate effectively with other trades and clients, and a desire to work in a team environment.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 5+ years of experience in carpentry including framing and finish work
• Strong organizational skills
• The ability to effectively guide, instruct, and motivate others
• Proficiency in project execution
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A desire for advancement
• Reliability
