Technical Support Specialist 2

Technical Support Specialist 2 provides advanced troubleshooting and customer escalation support for BD's Medstation systems, with a focus on ES 1.1x upgrade implementation. This limited-term role, anticipated through June 2028, requires resolving complex technical issues, coordinating with field service teams, and maintaining regulatory compliance across multiple U.S. locations.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls, callbacks, and escalations on the ES 1.1x channel using phone and email
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex, time-sensitive customer issues and site downtime incidents
- Coordinate with cross-functional ES 1.1x upgrade team and dispatch cases to field service technicians
- Identify technical trends, maintain case documentation in Salesforce, and provide customer progress updates
- Ensure regulatory compliance specific to ES 1.1x remediation and continuously expand product knowledge
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronic Technologies, or 3+ years equivalent experience
- 2+ years Microsoft SQL experience with query writing and data analysis capability
- SSIS (SQL Job) exposure or hands-on experience
- SQL Reporting proficiency
- Intermediate knowledge of BD products and hospital IT environments
- Ability to communicate complex technical systems to non-technical audiences
- Working knowledge of Windows OS and pharmacy workflow systems
