Responsibilities Support divisional finance leadership with monthly analysis and internal reporting of financial statements Prepare and post recurring journal entries for assigned entities on a monthly cycle Perform account reconciliations and flag variances for review and resolution Compile departmental overhead detail as part of the monthly close process Assist in drafting commentary explaining budget-to-actual and period-over-period variances Enter, validate and maintain financial data within enterprise financial systems Maintain project-level budget records and update them as revisions are approved Track cost activity by project and prepare reporting against approved budget figures Build and maintain recurring Excel reports and schedules used across the finance function Assist with preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecast updates Help test and adopt automation and AI-enabled tools that streamline recurring reporting work Gather schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audit requests Requirements Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required 1-3 years of finance or accounting experience required Exposure to cost accounting within a project-based or capital-intensive environment preferred Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and working with large data sets Familiarity with enterprise finance and accounting systems Solid analytical instincts paired with clear written and verbal communication Why You'll Love Working Here Broad exposure across close, budgeting and analysis rather than a single narrow function Genuine appetite for automation and AI, with room to influence how the finance function evolves Growing, multi-location platform with real advancement potential for strong performers Collaborative culture that rewards curiosity, independent thinking and reliable work #J-18808-Ljbffr
