Registered Nurse (RN)
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in acute care. The role primarily involves providing patient care during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments and care plans.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Acute care facility experience preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification is required.
Additional Information
Shifts may involve 36 or 48 hours per week. Please note that holiday requests for time off will not be approved. Candidates with EPIC experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
