Responsibilities

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Demonstrates commitment to organizational values by actively supporting quality improvement and safety programs.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains a wide range of complex machinery, equipment, and facility systems (e.g., boilers, generators, pumps, medical equipment).
• Conducts inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates within normal parameters.
• Performs routine and emergency repairs across electrical, plumbing, and general facility needs using appropriate tools.
• Supports overall facility operations through additional tasks such as assisting trades staff, equipment setup, minor building repairs, and general upkeep.

Qualifications

What minimum requirements you'll need

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent -required.

License/Certification:

• Valid Michigan Driver's License -required.
• On-the-job training in electromechanical repair and maintenance and plant operations, preferably in a healthcare facility environment required.

Experience:

• Four years related experience preferably in a healthcare facility environment -required.
