This position is a great opportunity for a skilled OR nurse who enjoys collaborating with others, improving workflows, and making a meaningful impact on both patient outcomes and team success in a fast-paced perioperative environment.What You'll DoAs the Operating Room Clinical Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting daily surgical operations and ensuring high-quality, efficient patient care by:Coordinating daily workflow and surgical case flow in the Operating RoomSupporting and supervising OR nursing staff and surgical team membersEnsuring adherence to clinical best practices, policies, and safety standardsCollaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teamsHelping resolve real-time operational and patient care needsSupporting quality improvement and patient safety initiativesPromoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellenceScheduleFull -timeMonday-Friday8-hour shiftsCall requiredWhat We're Looking ForGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN required)Current Illinois RN licenseCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications requiredMinimum of 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience requiredPrior charge nurse, coordinator, or leadership experience preferredStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsWhy Join Gateway?We value the expertise and dedication our nurses bring every day.
