About the Role Senior Sales Specialist – Credit Risk Solutions (Buy‑Side) Grade Level (for internal use) 12 The Team We are growing a dedicated Buy‑Side Sales Team within our Credit & Risk Solutions business. This is an exciting opportunity to join at the ground floor of a high‑growth initiative, focused on delivering credit risk intelligence and workflow solutions to Fortune 500 and multinational corporations. Responsibilities and Impact Corporates face increasing exposure to customer defaults, supplier risk, and macroeconomic uncertainty. Our solutions help senior finance, treasury, and procurement leaders evaluate counterparty creditworthiness, manage working capital, and build resilient supply chains. As a Senior Sales Specialist, you’ll own strategic client relationships and drive transformational impact. Own a portfolio of corporate accounts, with responsibility for new business and expansion across CFO, Treasury, Risk, and Procurement functions. Navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, including C‑level decision‑makers. Exceed revenue targets through proactive hunting in new logos and expansion of existing accounts. Position our Credit Risk Solutions suite (analytics, scorecards, ratings, workflow automation) as essential to client workflows. Lead high‑impact client conversations by diagnosing challenges, framing ROI, and shaping solutions. Collaborate with Pre‑Sales Engineers, Product, and Client Success teams to deliver tailored solutions. Provide market intelligence and client feedback to inform product development and strategy. Compensation / Benefits Information S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $102,287 to $127,858. Final base salary will be based on the individual’s geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. For more information on the benefits we provide to our employees, please visit What We Are Looking For Basic Required Qualifications 7+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, ideally in financial data, risk solutions, SaaS, or corporate treasury/risk technology. Demonstrated success exceeding $1M+ quotas in complex solution sales. Deep understanding of corporate finance and credit workflows (customer credit, supplier risk, working capital management). Strong executive presence, able to engage at CFO and Treasurer level. Consultative selling approach with proven ability to map client needs to tailored solutions. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline. Preferred Qualifications A chance to be a founding member of a new growth initiative, shaping how we sell into corporates.
