Job PurposeThe Digital Content Specialist brings the organization’s story to life through visual, digital, and social content. This role is responsible for creating, publishing, and optimizing content across digital channels to drive engagement, awareness, and action.This position turns strategy and stories into scroll-stopping, click-worthy content that connects audiences to the mission.Essential FunctionsContent CreationCreate digital assets including graphics, videos, photos, and campaign visualsDesign and format email templates, landing pages, and digital appealsMaintain a consistent visual brand across all platformsSocial Media & Digital ChannelsManage and post content across social media platformsWrite captions and adapt messaging for digital audiencesMonitor engagement and respond to comments or messages as appropriateIdentify trends and opportunities for growthWebsite & Digital PlatformsUpdate and maintain website pages, landing pages, and formsEnsure content is current, accurate, and optimizedSupport SEO and user experienceEmail & Campaign SupportBuild and deploy emails through email marketing platformsSegment lists and schedule sendsSupport digital fundraising and engagement campaignsAnalytics & OptimizationTrack digital performance including email, website, and social metricsProvide regular reporting and insightsTest and optimize content for stronger engagement and conversionCollaborationWork closely with the Communications Manager to bring stories to life visuallyPartner with the Marketing Project Manager to meet campaign timelinesExecute creative directions set by the DirectorMaintains Professional and Technical KnowledgeAttend educational workshops, review professional publications, establish personal networks and participate in professional groupsProtects the Credibility of the Rawhide MissionComply with the Rawhide standard of conduct by setting an example in words and actions that are consistent with the values and beliefs of RawhideContributes to the Team EffortPerforming other duties as directed or assigned by DirectorQualifications3+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media preferredStrong graphic design and basic video editing skillsExperience with social media platforms, CMS systems, and email marketing toolsKnowledge of analytics, SEO, and digital best practicesStrong attention to detail and creativityAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesNonprofit or mission-driven experience preferred.Core CompetenciesVisual storytellingDigital content creationBrand consistencyTime managementTechnical proficiencyCreativity and adaptability #J-18808-Ljbffr
