$90,000 – $110,000 + bonuses DOE

• Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
• Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome

• Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
• Work independently while handling a heavy caseload

• 3+ years of Criminal Law experience
• Former prosecutor or public defender experience strongly preferred: We have 2 former DA's, 1 former PD, and 1 former Magistrate on staff. While we value the prosecutor mindset, we also highly value the client management skills of a Public Defender for this role.
• High Emotional Intelligence (EQ): You must be able to navigate difficult situations with grace. We hire for personality as much as skill
• Resilient: Ability to handle the "ups and downs" of a criminal docket and high anxiety client interactions without losing your cool
• Tech-Savvy: Must be comfortable with modern case management software (we are a digital-first firm)
• Admitted to practice law in Tennessee
