Registered Nurse Cardiac Tele

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Minimum of 8 weeks, with a maximum of 7 days RTO. Local candidates accepted at the same rate.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac telemetry
• Compliance with all facility requirements
• Experience with the following diagnoses and procedures: Chest Pain, NSTEMI/STEMI, left/right heart cath, TEE, Cardioversions, Stress Tests, Pacemakers, AMI, Afib, CHF, Bradycardia, AICD Insertion & SVT/Tachycardia

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in a cardiac telemetry unit
• Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans

Compliance / Notes

Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant, there may be a push back of 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length.
