TEKsystems is currently hiring for FULL-TIME Bank Tellers with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the South Fredericksburg, VA area to start this June!

Position Overview:

Role: Floating Bank Teller

Target Start Date: 2nd Week of June

Location: Onsite in South Fredericksburg, VA (needs to be willing to be assigned to 3 different branches)

Pay Rate: $23.28 per hour

Contract: 5 Months (subject to extension)

Job Description:

To provide members and prospective members with the full range of products and services offered by the client, including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust, and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Respond to in-person member inquiries and requests promptly within a structured operation.

• Perform teller-line transactions and related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, and fraud resolution.

• Protect and verify the identity of members, review account information for alerts, and account irregularities.

• Act and respond to situations/patterns of activity indicating potential fraud or abuse.

• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple systems, active listening, and engagement techniques to ensure accuracy and member satisfaction.

• Identify and recommend additional Navy Federal products and services to meet member needs.

• Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures while supporting a positive member interaction experience.

Qualifications:

We're looking for motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:

Required: Experience with cash-handling in a fast-paced environment

Desired: Experience in customer service, preferably in banking or a financial institution

Schedule Details:

Regular Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday

• Employees are expected to be available to work Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

• On Saturdays, employees should be available to work between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
