Industrial Mechanic

What you'll do: * Utilize your industrial mechanical knowledge in maintaining a high-speed can manufacturing line * Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all industrial mechanical systems * Use precision measuring tools and work with close tolerances up to .0010 * Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity We need you to have: * High school diploma, GED, or equivalency * Technical school degree or certification in a related field is a plus * Ability to learn the use of SPC and to utilize it as a tool for continuous improvement * A commitment to safety Who we are: * America's largest metal food packaging producer. * A company that strives toward sustainability by reducing our carbon footprint, selecting like-minded suppliers, and providing recyclable products. * Silgan Containers has set sustainability targets through 2030 to source more renewable energy, reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, and divert our waste from landfill to foster environmental stewardship.
