George Washington Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and caring Housekeeper to join our team. Housekeeping plays an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff. What You'll Do Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, and common areas. Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas. Ensure resident rooms and common spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming. Follow proper infection control and safety procedures. Safely handle and store cleaning supplies and equipment. Remove trash and replenish supplies as needed. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the appropriate team members. Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, and coworkers. Help maintain a positive and comfortable environment for everyone in the facility. Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or hotel setting is a plus. Ability to follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures. Dependable, organized, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service. Why Join Us?
