As a part-time Early Intervention in-home and community-based, Behavior Therapist also known as a Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with South Shore Autism Center in Braintree, MA, you'll help children with developmental disabilities build important skills and celebrate everyday victories while working alongside a team that's invested in your success.

In this role, you'll provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children in their home or community setting (including daycare) with autism and Down syndrome through individualized programming designed to support their growth and independence. You'll work closely with BCBAs and fellow team members to implement treatment plans, collect data, document progress, and celebrate meaningful milestones with the children and families you support.

Compensation: $25 - $35 / hour 
*based on experience

Location: In-Home / Community-Based Settings

Schedule : Part-Time; Monday-Friday; no weekends required!  
Shifts: Morning 9am-12pm, Afternoon 12-3pm, Evening 3pm-5:30pm

• Provide direct services to children with autism in the home and community setting.
• Implement ABA instructional programming
• Remain positive and actively engaged with client during ABA session
• Follow supervising BCBA behavior and teaching plans
• Report any clinical or family concerns to supervising BCBA
• Collect data on child's skills, challenging behaviors, and overall progress
• Complete daily client session notes
• Deliver and maintain consistent, punctual, reliable service per the client’s service schedule
• Communicate professionally with family, team, and supervisors
• Work cooperatively with a team of support staff
• Participate in company Safety Care training for initial and re-certification
• Contribute to site-specific and company-wide projects and tasks as directed
• Participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, and professional development days
• Protect the confidentiality of the client and family

Required Skills

• Required : Associate degree or a minimum of 60 college credit hours toward a bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related field
• Prior experience with ABA or working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience working with children
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
• Physical ability to occasionally lift, transport clients or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; physical ability to move quickly to follow clients when walking or running
• Must consent to and successfully pass all required background screenings and employment verifications.
