Job Summary:
A healthcare organization in Salem, Massachusetts, is seeking a Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a rotating night shift position. The role involves providing care on a 41-bed medical telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychological, substance use disorder, genitourinary, and gastrointestinal patient populations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Schedule: Rotating shifts; Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Basic Life Support (BLS); a minimum of 2 years working in one location and 2 years experience as a traveler
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience interpreting telemetry strips, cardiac drips, TR bands, and high-flow oxygen administration
• Float: Float rotation may be required for applicable units when needed
• Additional Information:
  • Unit Description: 41-bed medical telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac care
  • Patient Ratio: Nights 1 nurse to 5/6 patients
  • Certifications required: Current Massachusetts RN license and AHA Certified BLS
  • EMR System: EPIC
