POSITION SUMMARY
The Refrigeration Assembler position is responsible for assembling refrigeration systems on air conditioning units using equipment such as pipe cutters, pipe benders, oxy-propane welding sets, flaring tools, taps, drills, in addition to any other equipment needed to perform the necessary tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform pressure and leak testing on own work.
- Accurately and efficiently interpret drawings and sketches
- Ensure good housekeeping of individual work area
- Maintain a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers.
- Other assignments as designated by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Experienced in the assembly of industrial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, and the assembly of copper fittings by soldering.
- Proficient ability in using, reading, and interpreting drawings and measuring scale or tape.
- Computer skills: basic computer skills a plus.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
