Position: Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, while also ensuring the protection of the sterile environment during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies prior to procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Assist the surgical team by anticipating their needs during surgeries.
• Participate in maintaining and checking surgical equipment for functionality.
• Document all pertinent information accurately in electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) is required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a surgical environment is required.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic medical record documentation is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
