This position involves working in a busy and advanced cardiac program, performing a wide range of cardiac procedures. Unit Information Number of Beds: 2 cath lab rooms, 10 pre & post beds, 6 holding beds Staffing: 20 total staff including RNs and Cardiovascular Technologists Patient Ratios: 1:1 in the lab, 2:1 in holding, 4:1 in pre/post Equipment: GE imaging equipment, Volcano, Rotoblator, Angiojet, IABP, Impella, Penumbra, Inari EMR: Cerner and Merge hemodynamic system Qualifications Required Skills: Previous Cath Lab experience Able to take call Preferred Skills: Experience with Structural Heart procedures Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) Typical Procedures Performed Heart Catheterizations and interventions Peripheral catheterizations and interventions TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) MitraClip procedures Watchman implantations Pacemaker and ICD placements EP studies and ablations PFO and ASD closures Carotid stenting Best Personality Fit Flexible Easygoing temperament Work Schedule Travelers shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent staff.
