About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – Cardiac Step-Down (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 15-bed Cardiac Step-Down unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3–4:1
• Monitor and manage patients post-EP lab and post-cath lab procedures
• Operate and manage telemetry equipment, sheaths, and IV drips (gtts)
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to all Med-Surg and Step-Down units as needed
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements of 4 shifts per 6-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down setting
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, sheaths, and IV drips
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Experience in a cardiac-focused unit or with post-procedural cardiac patients
