Geotechnical EngineerGeo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience for our Charlotte, North Carolina office.Primary Responsibilities:Provide task support to the Construction Observation & Testing groupCoordinate and manage drilling projects and oversee junior staff with management of these projects, as well as visual classification and log preparationCoordinate and review laboratory testingComplete accurate geotechnical exploration reportsPerform engineering calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, pavement section designs, slope stability, etc.Generate scopes and fees for new projects and prepare complete proposals and budgets.
