Our biggest priority is providing outstanding customer service & revolutionizing the industry through the use of the latest technology.In your role as a Tire Technician you will work closely with the mechanics and other maintenance staff to ensure a vehicles are road ready in a timely and safe manner.Duties include but are not limited to:Inspect, diagnose, and repair tire issues on various waste management vehiclePerforms preventative maintenance on vehicles to enable minimal downtimePerform tire rotations, alignments, and balancing as neededMonitor tire pressure and tread depth regularly to ensure optimal performanceExecutes work orders and turns into Maintenance Supervisor for company recordsFollow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasksCollaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure vehicle readinessOther tasks as assignedQualificationsThe successful candidate profile includes:1-2 years experience working as a tire technician or similar role preferredFamiliarity with tire maintenance equipment and toolsKnowledge of tire types, sizes, and specificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredMust be able to pass criminal background checkMust be able to sit, kneel, crouch, stoop, crawl, balance, hear, talk and smellBasic mechanical knowledge is a plusMust be able to lift up to 75 pounds
