What You ll Do

• Provide OB triage, admissions inpatient care, and delivery coverage for hospitalized patients
• Manage OB/GYN emergency-department patients and coordinate timely next steps
• Provide 24-hour in-house shift coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
• Conduct trauma evaluation of pregnant patients as needed
• Collaborate with community OBs in a cohesive, highly supportive group
• Deliver real-time communication with office physicians regarding triage visits, new issues, and deliveries
• Coordinate obstetric care and follow-up for admitted patients and deliveries

What You Need
Required

• Board-certified OB/GYN physician
• Ability to provide per diem OB/GYN hospitalist coverage for inpatient admissions and labor/delivery

Preferred

• Experience working in a hospitalist or inpatient OB/GYN setting
• Comfort managing obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in an in-house coverage model

About the Assignment
This per diem OB/Gyn Hospitalist opportunity supports obstetric and gynecologic emergency coverage in Mansfield, Ohio, including OB triage, inpatient admissions, and delivery for hospitalized patients. You ll work within a collaborative environment with real-time communication to office physicians and participation in multidisciplinary OB critical care.
