Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Cardiac Procedure Nurse!

Job Description:


- Shift: Days, 8 hours
- Schedule: 5x8 hr shifts, starting at 7:00/7:30 AM and ending around 4:30/5:00 PM
- Floating: May float to Cardiac & V
- Local Radius Rule: All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license)
- Employee Separation Policy:
- No past employee of UPH (FTE or PRN) can work travel in another market for 12 months
- If you have worked travel at UPH, the separation policy does not apply
- NBO: 16 hours
- EMR: EPIC
- Charge/Precept Rate: $6/hr
- Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
- On Call: $9/hr

Unit Information:
- Bed Size: 2 procedure, 3 pre/post bays
- Ratios: 1:3
- Patient Types: Non-invasive cardiology procedures (TEE, cardioversions, stress testing, prep/post and procedural)

Submission Requirements:
- Clinical Interview Pre-screening: Must have a 405 Area Code
- Orientation Dates: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 11/30, 12/7
- Holiday Responsibilities: Required to work 1-2 of 3 winter holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
- Experience Requirement:
- 24 months minimum experience in pre/post op, PACU, Cardiac/cardiology setting
- 1st time travelers accepted with at least 3 years experience in pre/post op
- Required Skills:
- EPIC EMR experience
- TEE experience
- Cardioversion experience
- Stress Testing experience (preferred)

Profile Requirements:
- Work history/resume must show 24 months of current pre/post op or cath or cardiac experience
- Specific Skills Checklist for pre/post op or cath or cardiac
- Professional Reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within 24 months of today's date (preferred)
- Valid Driver's License (document required)
- Current AHA/ARC/Red Cross BLS Certification required
