Job Description
Interventional Radiology/Cardiology RN

Schedule:
Day 5x8's 0630-1500 or 0900-1730, with call.

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 40
- Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:
- Current RN license in the State of Oregon
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- At least one year of experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology.
- Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty preferred (e.g., RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale), IV certification

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing interventional procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization.
- Administer medications and maintain sterile technique while assisting with procedures.
- Act as patient advocate, anticipating needs and responding rapidly to complications.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and high-quality patient care.
- Monitor patients during moderate sedation and document hemodynamic and procedural data accurately.
- Assist in preparing and organizing sterile instruments and supplies for procedures.
