Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide expert emergency nursing care in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department setting. The RN will deliver quality patient assessment, treatment, and support to diverse patient populations, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately to determine appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize EMR systems to document all patient interactions and clinical activities.
• Monitor patient responses and escalate issues as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all unit policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid RN license.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS certifications.
• Have at least 2 years of emergency department nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in intubation, suturing, splinting, and IV placement.
• Exhibit excellent teamwork and patient communication abilities.
• Be available to start by the projected date and work nights with rotating weekends.
