Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional for a position that involves providing therapeutic physical therapy services. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating and managing a full caseload of patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients as either outpatient or inpatient.
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the ordering physician.
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Independently manage a full caseload and ensure compliance with insurance authorization for re-evaluations.
• Provide coverage in both rehab and acute rehab settings.
• Be available to work on Hawaii State and Federal holidays as required by hospital operations.

Shift Schedule

This position requires availability from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii license required by the start of the assignment.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in both outpatient and acute settings, specifically working with adults.
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross is mandatory.

Tools and Equipment

The department utilizes EMR Net Health Therapy and Meditech for patient management and documentation.

Additional Information

Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend the mandatory employee health appointment on Friday. Please ensure your availability aligns with this requirement to accept the offered start date.
