IT Audit Manager

IT Internal Audit ManagerReady to lead technology-focused audits across an enterprise IT environment? We're looking for an IT Internal Audit Manager to plan, execute, and report on audits that strengthen risk management and governance. In this role, you'll evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT general and application controls, support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and partner with IT and business leaders. The ideal candidate combines technical audit expertise with strong communication and leadership skills.What you'll do:Plan, lead, and execute IT audits, including ITGC, application controls, and operational auditsDevelop and maintain the annual risk-based IT audit plan with Internal Audit leadershipLead SOX IT control testing, including scoping, walkthroughs, design and operating effectiveness testing, and remediation trackingApply frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, NIST, and ISO 27001 to assess control environments and identify riskManage and develop the AuditBoard platform and use it to document workpapers, findings, and controlsSupervise, mentor, and develop audit staff throughout the audit lifecycleCommunicate findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management, business stakeholders, and external auditorsBuild strong relationships with IT leadership, business units, and external audit partnersTrack audit issues and management action plans to ensure timely remediationStay current on emerging technology risks, regulatory changes, and industry best practicesWhat we're looking for:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related fieldCIA or CISA certification required; CPA or CISSP preferredIn-depth experience with AuditBoard5+ years of progressive experience in IT audit, internal audit, or risk/compliance, including people-management or team-leadership experienceFamiliarity with IT controls, audit methodologies, and risk management frameworksExperience with SOX control testingExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsLocation: Phoenix, Arizona Salary: $125,000 - $135,000
