Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring and delivering patients within a high-volume Level III maternity unit featuring 20 LDRs, 7 triage bays, 4 PACU beds, and 3 ORs
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate tracings and respond appropriately to changes in maternal and fetal status
• Adhere to AWHONN recommended staffing guidelines with standard ratios of 1:1 for active labor, with flexibility to 2:1 for early labors and 3:1 for antepartum high-risk OB
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC (CareConnect/STORK) and Periwatch EMR systems
• Float between women's health departments including postpartum and high-risk OB as needed
• Maintain strict attendance standards; scrubs are provided by the department

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (any state) or valid compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• EFM-NCC or AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required
• EPIC charting experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Magnet-designated maternity setting
• Familiarity with Periwatch fetal surveillance software
• Experience floating across multiple women's health service lines
