Research Administrator III

Managing post-award administration for complex sponsored projects, the full-time Research Administrator III will oversee fiscal management, budget analysis, and compliance for a multimillion-dollar portfolio within the remote Department of Psychiatry. Key responsibilities Administer post-award fiscal management and comprehensive awards management for complex sponsored projects Prepare financial reports, manage award budgets, and ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and regulations Advise Principal Investigators on award management, including re-budgeting, no-cost extensions, and regulatory requirements Required qualifications Seven years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related area plus three years of relevant experience Thorough understanding of research administration guidelines for federal and non-federal sponsors Experience managing complex post-award transactions across multiple award types and funding sources Demonstrated ability to perform complex financial analysis and customized reporting for large multi-institutional projects Knowledge of compliance requirements related to the use of human or animal subjects in research
