Saw Operator - DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!!!
Description: Saw Operator – 2nd & 3rd Shift
Location: Waukesha, WI
Shifts: 2nd and 3rd shift available
Pay: Based on experience - plus a $3 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift
One Source Staffing is hiring Saw Operators for a well-established, family-owned manufacturer in Waukesha. The company has been run by three generations of the same family for more than 50 years. It serves clients around the world and is known for innovation, quality, and a strong commitment to its employees. Must-Have Requirements 2+ years of experience as a saw operator
Experience reading blueprints
Good math skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
Able to follow shop routings Preferred Qualifications Experience making miter cuts
Able to convert between metric and standard measurements
High school diploma or equivalent work experience What You’ll Do Perform all work safely and responsibly
Set up and run power saws to cut, miter, and trim material to specification
Choose and install saw blades using hand tools
Adjust machine controls for speed, feed rate, and blade tension
Position guides, stops, holding blocks, and other fixtures to secure and direct material
Load material into holding devices by hand or with a hoist

The job may involve moving product with an overhead crane, forklift, or stand-up forklift. It also involves lifting up to 50 lbs., plus standing, walking, and reaching throughout the shift. Close, distance, color, and depth vision are required.
