Job Title Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Location Alamosa, Colorado Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatment to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with established goals and clinical guidelines
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to support resident rehabilitation and daily living goals
- Assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for residents within the SNF setting
- Active COTA licensure in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in SNF environments
- Opportunity to gain valuable SNF experience in a 13-week contract role with a defined start date
- Work with a supportive staffing team dedicated to placing therapy professionals in rewarding clinical settings
