R&D- Technician II

The Fort Myers, FL Exterior Exposure Test Fence is seeking an R&D Technician II to support General Industrial (GI) and Coil and Extrusion exterior UV exposure testing programs. This role provides hands-on technical support for exposure testing activities that enable new product development and maintenance of business across both organizations. The position is responsible for executing sample intake and preparation, outdoor exposure placement, scheduled interim and final evaluations, data documentation, reporting, and coordination with internal technical stakeholders. The technician will follow established ASTM methods, SOPs, and laboratory quality systems to ensure accurate, timely, and traceable exposure data generation in support of GI and Coil and Extrusion project needs. This role is intended to provide shared capacity across both organizations, with workload and priorities aligned to support GI and Coil and Extrusion exposure testing demand. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.
