Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our outpatient clinic team. This position offers a dynamic work environment, focusing on breast imaging, screening, and diagnostic procedures. Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in mammography with the ability to perform 3-D mammography and digital mammograms while ensuring patient comfort and care.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams, including screening and diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure quality control in imaging procedures and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Epic charting system.
• Communicate effectively with patients and provide education about the procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Schedule

This position follows a 4x10-hour day schedule, typically from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays required. Candidates should be flexible as shift times may vary based on unit needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
• Current certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, and BLS.
• Experience with Hologic 3D imaging preferred.
