Healthcare Customer Service Representative

To enhance the patient experience in a remote capacity, the Healthcare Customer Service Representative will manage up to 60 calls daily, addressing inquiries and payment options while providing support in a fast-paced call center environment. Key responsibilities Resolve patient inquiries and concerns through direct phone interactions with patients, partners, and healthcare providers Collect payments and guide patients on payment options for outstanding balances, while updating account information as necessary Explain medical billing details, including deductibles and copays, while ensuring a positive and caring interaction with all stakeholders Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years' experience in healthcare, preferably in medical billing and direct patient contact within a call center Proficiency in medical terminology and insurance billing practices Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and Spanish preferred Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment in professional interactions
