Job Duties What You Will Be Doing : Provide exceptional customer service to all external and internal customers via telephone, in writing and/or in person and provide program specific information Collect admissions fees and register patrons for scheduled programs. Handle multiple-step transactions such as receiving and/or issuing receipts, forms, cash and documents. Educate patrons of rules and policies of the King County Aquatic Center. Respond to emergency situations; follow facility protocol for reporting damage, incidents or injuries. Complete reports accurately and in a timely manner. Perform data entry. Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Qualifications You Bring : Must be a minimum of 16 years of age. Experience providing customer service. Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to positively interact with a variety of people in a diverse work environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Ability to effectively use computers and office software. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Ability to use discretion, patience, proper etiquette, and professionalism to establish and maintain effective relationships, even in challenging situations. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks that may involve bending, kneeling, standing, reaching, climbing, stooping, squatting, pushing, and twisting. Strong organizational skills. Possess and maintain current American Red Cross certifications: Community First Aid and CPR/FPR.
