Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.88 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate resources. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout healthcare buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, credential verification, and access-control procedures in accordance with site policies. Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. A valid armed guard card or license is required. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
