Overview Roxbury Community College (RCC) is a public institution of higher education offering associate degrees, certificate programs and lifelong learning opportunities to the Greater Boston community. Job Details Unit: MCCC Department: Admissions Reports To: Assistant Director of Admissions Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 10:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Date: July 2026 Position Summary Provides guidance to prospective students through the entire enrollment process in the college. Meets with prospective students individually, collectively, in person, or online regarding admissions, registration, financial aid, testing, minimal advising, and student accounts. (i.e. provides information concerning college programs, careers, salaries, job outlooks, courses, transfer credit, CLEP, life experience credit, transfer compact, joint admission, articulation agreements, payment plans, and financial aid; guides, directs, and assists students in planning to meet their educational objectives; assists students in completing required forms/documentation). Processes student enrollment documents for prospective students as needed in the following areas: admissions, registrations, financial aid, testing, advising and student accounts. Assists quick admits into open door programs. Provides assistance to prospective international and veteran students (i.e., information concerning international student requirements; assists foreign students with completion of admission applications/documentation; provides GI Bill information to veterans; directs veteran students on tuition waivers). Duties and Responsibilities Oversee campaigns for newly admitted students from application completion to matriculation. Arrange meetings and events (in person or remote) for all newly admitted students. Answer questions, handle issues, and provide detailed information to students on school requirements, processes, and policies. Collect data to qualify candidates for programs, services, or courses. Ensure applications are completed correctly, with the required supporting materials. Enter, update, and review records. Provide guidance and recommendations to current and prospective students. Process enrollments and withdrawals. Assist with billing and payment processing. Prepare, transmit, maintain, and respond to requests for student transcripts and other official documents. Conduct information sessions. Participate in school activities. Check source documents for accuracy. Verify and correct data where necessary. Obtain additional information for incomplete documents. Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required. Enter data from source documents into prescribed databases. Transcribe information into the required electronic format. May scan documents into document management systems or databases. Audit completed work for accuracy. Store source documents in designated locations for future reference. Maintain accurate records of activities and tasks. Respond to requests for information and access relevant files in providing information. Ensure reference documents are appropriately returned to storage for future reference. Print information when required. Comply with all data integrity and security policies. Maintain the strictest confidentiality requirements. Presence at recruitment activities required when necessary. Provide other administrative assistance as required. Requirements Qualifications Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree. Required Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of prior experience in college admissions or related field. Core Competencies: Demonstrates excellence in written, verbal, and digital communication skills (e.g., proficient in Microsoft Office, ZOOM, Slate or comparable CRM) including the ability to communicate information clearly and professionally to students, faculty, staff, administrators, union representatives, and community partners while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Demonstrates commitment to working in a culturally diverse, urban community college setting. Preferred Qualifications (optional): Bilingual. Spanish or Haitian Creole preferred. Additional Information Location: 1234 Columbus Ave, Roxbury Crossings, MA 02120, RCC Connect: Room 106 & 107 Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week. Compensation: $58,979.00-$110,581.00. Placement within the salary range is determined in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Starting salary is based on the candidate\'s education, relevant experience, and/or other contractually established placement criteria.
