Metric Bio is partnering with an elite neurotechnology company to recruit a Staff Machine Learning Engineer for their groundbreaking brain-computer interface (BCI) platform. This is an opportunity to join a team of world-renowned experts at the forefront of neurotechnology and AI.

You'll be working alongside:
- Leading neuroscientists and neurosurgeons from top institutions
- Machine learning pioneers with publications in NeurIPS, ICML, and Nature journals

The Opportunity:
As a Staff ML Engineer, you will:
- Develop novel algorithms for real-time neural signal decoding that will define industry standards
- Architect robust ML systems processing high-dimensional neural data at the edge
- Collaborate directly with clinical teams to validate models in real-world settings
- Contribute to an FDA-regulated medical device with immediate patient impact
What You will Bring:
- Advanced expertise in machine learning (RNNs, LSTMs, CNNs) and signal processing (spike sorting, LFP/ECoG analysis)
- Experience deploying production ML systems with strict latency requirements
- Strong Python skills (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and cloud infrastructure knowledge
- A track record of technical excellence through publications, patents, or shipped products
- Passion for bridging AI research with clinical applications
