Dispatcher

Service Specialties, Inc. (SSI) is a leading residential HVAC and Plumbing contractor serving Northern Virginia since 1979. About the Role As a Dispatcher, you will be the key link between customers and our technicians. You'll ensure technicians are scheduled efficiently, service routes make sense throughout Northern VA, and customers get prompt attention. This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (one hour lunch). Main Responsibilities Assign technicians to service calls by priority, location, and skill set Monitor and update the daily dispatch board for maximum efficiency Communicate clearly with technicians and Customer Service Representatives Adjust schedules as needed for delays, emergencies, or changing priorities Track technician progress and uphold appointment windows Document all activity accurately in our system (ServiceTitan) Support a positive team atmosphere and high customer satisfaction Keep management informed of any scheduling issues or improvement opportunities Skills & Qualifications Previous dispatch or scheduling experience (preferred) Call center or customer service background (a plus) Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills Great communication and the ability to multitask Team player who can also work independently Familiarity with the Northern Virginia area/routing highly preferred Benefits & Culture Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, and Life Insurance 401k plan with company match 7 paid holidays per year PTO for vacation and personal days Ongoing training and education Growth opportunities within a supportive company Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans. #J-18808-Ljbffr SERVICE SPECIALTIES, INC.
