- Participate actively in business development and marketing efforts, including developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new and repeat project opportunities, supporting proposals and interviews, and representing Apex at appropriate client and industry events.
- Contribute to client retention and business development by identifying opportunities within existing relationships and communicating potential opportunities to Apex leadership.
- Provide mentorship, leadership, and project management development to Project Managers, Associate Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project team members.
- Establish expectations and provide constructive feedback to project leaders and team members regarding project execution, communication, technical quality, client service, and professional development.
- Participate in Apex Technical Advisory Groups and contribute to the continued improvement of engineering standards, project management practices, QA/QC procedures, technical resources, and project delivery processes.
- Identify recurring project challenges, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement and help implement more effective project management and engineering practices across Apex.
