Engineering Business Analyst III (Gas Engineering)

Overview

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support Gas Engineering capital planning, financial analysis, budgeting, and regulatory activities. This role serves as a liaison between Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Regulatory teams, providing financial insights and reporting to support capital project decisions and rate case filings.

Required Skills

• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling experience.
• Advanced SAP and Excel skills.
• Experience with capital planning, variance analysis, project costing, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, operations, finance, and regulatory groups.

Preferred Background

• Utility, energy, engineering, operations, or capital project environments.
• Experience supporting rate cases and regulatory filings.
• Knowledge of capital project accounting and investment analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, engineering, operations, or business analysis.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
